General Information

The Rivers Nursery was founded in 1725. Throughout 2025, we will host several events to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the historic site. Please use the links on the left to navigate the site, or see below for more information.

Each month, Elizabeth Waugh will produce a Diary of the events of the previous month and what to look forward to in the coming months. Please visit the diary page to keep updated on our activities.

A series of articles about the history of the Rivers Nursery and the activities of the Rivers Heritage Site and Orchard RHSO will be published.

Events will be hosted around the local area throughout the year to celebrate the anniversary. The list will be updated, so please check back frequently.
